Mattresses and Divans
Our bespoke bed bases and mattresses are specifically designed for Four Poster Beds. All Beaudesert mattresses are handmade to order in the UK from the highest quality fillings - layers of superior cotton felt, silk, long-stranded horsehair and combed lambs wool laid over our choice of fine quality pocketed spring units

The mattress is a high grade traditional pocket spring mattress. Individually hand nested centre twine-tied pocketed springs fill the mattress, which are compression encased in hard-wearing white calico.
The mattress is finished with a hessian insulator which is hand stitched to the springs, then covered in layers of loose wool, white cotton and white polyester fibres.
The border is finished with two rows of hand side-stitching, tufted by felt washers and secured by hand with 100% cotton popins. Four reinforced flag-stitched handles are added along with solid brass ventilators, which allow the mattress to breathe.
Beaudesert hand-made mattresses come with a 10-year guarantee.

Other sizes can be supplied on request

The solid box construction base can be supplied either as 2 connecting pieces (twins) or as single piece. The base is covered in plain linen, or you can supply your own material.
